Hair Collection Kit Details

For those unable to visit our clinic, our Hair Collection Kit offers a practical alternative. We will send the kit directly to a medical professional designated by you, who will serve as an impartial collector of the hair sample. **The Collection Kit fee does NOT cover the cost of Hair Testing, as it is intended solely for the collection of the hair sample.

How to Order a Hair Collection Kit:

  • Fill Out Required Fields: Ensure all necessary details are provided in the form below before adding the kit to your cart.

  • Sending the Kit: After we receive your order and payment, we will dispatch the kit to your General Practitioner (GP) at their clinic. To maintain impartiality and ensure the sample’s integrity, it is crucial that your GP is not a friend or relative. This requirement preserves the legal chain of custody and ensures the test results are admissible in court proceedings. Kits are exclusively sent to the GP’s official place of business, not to personal residences or other locations.

Additional Information

If you’re unable to visit our clinic for hair testing, we’ve got a seamless solution for you.

Our service involves dispatching a hair collection kit to a qualified medical professional you designate, ensuring the sample’s integrity and adherence to the legal chain of custody. This method also confirms the identity of the individual being tested, strictly avoiding sending hair collection kits to residential addresses or uncertified recipients.

Our protocol is designed to prevent unauthorised sample collection, protecting individual rights and the legal standing of the test. The chosen hair collector, ideally your General Practitioner (GP), should be someone with no personal connection to you, guaranteeing impartiality and professional conduct.

Although we provide the option for remote testing, we highly recommend visiting our clinic if possible. In-person visits allow for immediate answers to any questions you might have during the collection process, questions your GP might not be equipped to handle. It also eliminates the costs associated with the collection kit and GP consultation fees.

Furthermore, testing at our clinic is faster, bypassing the potential delays and errors that can occur with remote hair sample collection and shipping.

Please note: The Collection Kit fee does NOT include the cost of Hair Testing. It is only for collecting the hair sample. Forensic testing will commence once the sample is received and the fees for drug and alcohol testing are paid.

Important Considerations:

  • Adherence to Collection Process: The integrity of the test results is contingent upon strict adherence to the specified collection process. Any deviation from this process may lead to challenges from opposing parties in court, potentially impacting the admissibility of the test results.

  • Responsibility for Mishaps: The hair donor assumes responsibility for any mishaps that occur during the collection or shipping of the sample. This includes ensuring that the collection is performed under the proper conditions as specified.

  • Refund Policy: Please note that once the kit is mailed or the forensic testing has commenced, no refunds will be issued
  • Costs of Retesting: While your GP will be provided with detailed guidelines and protocols for hair collection, it is important to understand that any costs associated with retesting due to errors at offsite locations will be the responsibility of the hair donor.

By following these guidelines, we help ensure that your test results maintain their credibility and admissibility in legal proceedings.
